Information we collect

When you sign in with Google, Friends Yelp requests your verified email address. We do not request your Google name, profile photo, contacts, files, or other Google data. Google also sends a technical account identifier during sign-in; Friends Yelp uses it only to validate that response and does not save it.

Separately, we store information you choose to create inside Friends Yelp, such as profile names, friendships, invitations, places, and reviews.

How we use information

We use your Google email only to authenticate you and identify your Friends Yelp account. Information created in Friends Yelp is used to operate the social features you request, secure the service, and troubleshoot problems.

Sharing and selling

We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising. Information you intentionally post for friends, such as reviews, is visible to the people connected to you in the app. Infrastructure providers may process information as needed to host and secure the service.

Storage and deletion

Account information is stored using Cloudflare infrastructure. You can delete your account and its saved data from your profile. Limited security records may be retained when reasonably necessary to prevent abuse or comply with legal obligations.

Google data

Friends Yelp stores only your verified Google email address. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy.
